About

Hi, we are Mark and Jennifer Neal. Welcome to Fallen Oak Goldendoodles! We would like to share a little about us. We have 4 children & 7 grandchildren (with the 8th on the way), 3 dogs, and 3 cats-all of which are our pets and live with us in our home.

Our Goldendoodles are Shelley and Goose. They are beautiful, standard size, curly coated, loveable teddy bears. Shelley and Goose love to join us on hikes and beach trips. Goose sometimes thinks he is the same size as our Shih Tzu and would like to have a seat on our laps. They both love to play fetch and our son has taught Shelley to catch a football in midair.

After much thought, conversation, and prayer we decided we would like to share our Goldendoodles through their offspring. We have studied up on the health, personality traits, activity levels, and coat textures. Since Jennifer has asthma, we found that the best coat texture for us to invite into our home was the curly coat. Though no dog is completely hypoallergenic, the curly coated Goldendoodles tend to produce less dander than other coat textures. Dander is usually the culprit behind many health issues. Shelley and Goose have both been DNA health tested and are clear from all major health risks. Though our desire is to produce the healthiest and most well-behaved doodle pups, there is never a 100% guarantee that some type of issue will not arise.

The name of our program came from one of the largest oak trees on record in our county which stood in the front yard of Mark’s grandparents. It was a huge, beautiful tree that was the center point of holiday family photos for many years. The tree was very old and had become hollow all the way through the middle which led to it falling to the ground a few years ago. The remnant of that tree still lies at the side of the yard and new tress have grown from the acorns the squirrels have buried. Each time we glance at what is left of that old oak tree, it reminds us that we too were nothing more than fallen oaks; but, because of the blood of Jesus Christ, we are made new and are growing into something far more beautiful than that huge oak tree. Our desire is to be obedient to God and His Word while sharing our family with yours.

We hope you will give us the opportunity to spread the joy and love of our Goldendoodles with you.
